The product nomination process for the 2027 Food Management Today Industry Awards are now open. If you would like to nominate a product(s), please fill out the short form below.

Product judging for the Awards will be held in the Reiser UK Test Kitchens, Milton Keynes on Wednesday 10th to Friday 12th February 2027.

Best Bakery Product

From the daily loaf to fancy cakes, to pies and pasties or pizza, anything that falls within the category of baking and bakery products can be entered into Best Bakery Product. Judges will be looking for great taste, value and modern packaging. Do you have a winning product?

Best Dairy Product

Yoghurts, cheese, ice cream and short-life products such as spreads, butter and dips, plus a myriad of other products can be entered. However, no milk drinks or liquid milk is included in this category. If it has dairy credentials and ingredients, make sure your products are entered.

Best Free From Product

With the continued growth in the free from market there remains an increasingly excellent range of free from products in all sectors. We are looking for innovation, great taste and value for money. It could be gluten free, a vegetarian or vegan product, or products with low salt and reduced fat or sugar, or non-dairy. From burgers to baked goods, the range is amazing. Could your product be a winner?

Best Frozen Product

The frozen sector is a familiar face, but it is especially interesting to many consumers for its convenience, value and the opportunity to avoid food waste. Whether its seafood, dairy products, meat and ready meals or new twists on traditional products such as fries, fruits or vegetables, make sure your products are in the mix.

Best New Product Development

Innovation is ubiquitous across the food industry. It could be improved packaging, quicker cooking times, updated ingredients or brand new products and new supermarket ranges. The food industry never stands still, and our judges will be looking for superb products with real appeal and new ranges that will attract consumers on factors such as convenience, taste and value.

Best Poultry Product

One of the most versatile and sought after meats in supermarket aisles, poultry is a popular choice with many consumers. Whether it be a whole bird, packaged portions or as a main ingredient in ready meals and cold eating products, if your product has chicken in it, it can be entered. Old favourites reimagined, birds in bags, quick cook spatchcock or brand new products, and of course not forgetting the established traditional roasting products that represent a great eating experience – the possibilities are endless, and entries are always wonderfully varied.

Best Ready to Eat Product

From cooked meats such as pork pies and Scotch eggs to energy bars, confectionary and cereal products, this category encompasses a wide range of readily available products. Tarts, cakes, crisps, snacks and nuts are all valid entries, and even smoked fish can be entered. Whether eating on the go or grazing as part of a healthy diet, these products will be judged on convenience, packaging, and value, as well as great taste and overall eating experience.

Best Red Meat Product

If your product is in the pork, beef or lamb sectors then make sure you enter. Great steaks, ready meals, convenience foods, burgers, sausages, cooked meats as well as pies, pasties and joints - this category offers varied choice and is always a competitive one, with amazing products expected.
